The GoldenApple Scholars
This Illinois Program is now recruiting high school seniors to apply for our teacher preparation program. Scholars are provided with extensive teaching experience and advanced preparation to supplement their college curriculum, academic support throughout college, college tuition-assistance and support (up to $23,000), and mentoring during their first years of teaching. In return, Scholars commit to teach in Illinois schools-of-need for five years after college graduation from an Illinois partner university.

IACAC Scholarship Opportunity
Ten $1,000 Scholarships Available
The IACAC Scholarship Committee is pleased to announce that we will award ten $1,000 scholarships ($500 per semester, nonrenewable) to students who plan on pursuing a college or university education. This program allows our organization to give back to the students that we work with on a daily basis.
Ten scholarships are awarded to deserving students of IACAC member high schools who exhibit a commitment to learning and have demonstrated involvement in their schools, the community, and/or service to others, with a motivation to achieve personal goals. This year’s recipients will be recognized by video submission during the 2021 IACAC Annual Conference in the Spring.

The IAA Foundation Scholarship Program
The IAA Foundation endeavors to enhance the future of agriculture by providing college scholarships to Illinois Farm Families, Illinois Farm Bureau members, spouses, or their children who major in agriculture, agribusiness, or an ag-related course of study. The IAA Foundation is pleased to administer scholarships on behalf of agricultural partners and families who wish to support future generations and help assure a well-qualified and professional agricultural workforce in Illinois while supporting farming communities.
SCHOLARSHIPS This year, the IAA Foundation offers 72 awards ranging from $1,000 to $7,500. Applicants may apply for more than one but can only receive one scholarship. In addition to the above guidelines, many scholarships have specific requirements which you will need to review.

6. May not be a spouse, child, sibling, grandchild, son-in-law, or daughter in-law of an IAA Foundation trustee, employee, or current member of the Illinois Farm Bureau Board of Directors.
CRITERIA FOR SELECTION In addition to eligibility guidelines, the following is considered in selecting recipients: 1. Academic Performance (30%) 2. Activities and Leadership (30%) 3. TERMS All scholarship funds are sent to the designated institution prior to the beginning of the academic year. Funds are applied by the institution to fund tuition, room and board and books. Scholarship recipients are not restricted from pursuing and accepting other forms of financial aid, assistantship, or tuition waivers.

2021 CBAI Foundation For Community Banking Scholarship
Recipients are determined by an essay-writing contest and an impartial panel judges. All high school seniors, regardless of their financial need or plans for higher education, may participate. The price awarded for the overall winner is $1000 per year for up to four years of higher education, with up to 11 additional awards of $1,000 and up to 12 second place awards of $500.00 each, depending on the quality of the entries. Deadline: February 6, 2021 5pm at the CBA Foundation office.

HOW TO APPLY
1. Go to www.llccfoundation.org/scholarships and click on APPLY NOW.
2. Click the “Sign Up” button in the upper right corner.
3. Enter your LLCC email address and a password of your choice.
Before you can sign up for a scholarship account, you must have applied to LLCC and have been
accepted for admission. If you are not a student at LLCC, if you have not taken classes at LLCC
for one year or longer, or if you have completed your academic program, you can apply for

4. Upon signing up for an account, you will receive a confirmation email to ensure your identity.

In 500-750 words, you will be asked to address the following:

choose this field of study and career?
Explain why you are applying for a scholarship and how you will benefit. Be sure to discuss
how you are financing your college education and include any special personal or family
circumstances affecting your need for financial assistance.
2. Two References
You will be required to enter the name and email address for two references. References will receive an
automated email from the application system requesting they complete a recommendation form. Your
application will not be complete until your two references have submitted their recommendations.
References must submit their recommendations no later than 11:59 p.m. CST on March 1, 2021.
References can be teachers, faculty, staff, mentors, coaches, employers, etc. Do NOT ask family members
or friends.
3. Academic Transcript
You will be required to submit an unofficial transcript from your most recent high school or college. If you
are a high school senior or current college student, submit your transcript after fall 2020 grades have been
posted. Current LLCC Students - While using Mozilla Firefox to view your transcript in WebAdvisor....Choose
print from your browser file menu, select Adobe PDF, and then choose print again. This allows you to save a

Midwest Technical Institute and our sister school, Delta Technical College, are pleased to announce the 2020-2021 Midwest Technical Institute and Delta Technical College 2021 High School Scholarship Program (MTI and DTC HS Scholarship) for graduating high school seniors.
The program will award up to 23 scholarships for various amounts at each of our campus locations. In total, up to 138 students across MTI and DTC’s campus network will receive approximately $804,000 in MTI and DTC scholarship funds.
How Do I Apply for the Scholarship?

What is the LaVern and Nola McEntire Lineworker’s Scholarship?
This $2000 scholarship will help pay for costs to attend the lineworker's school conducted by the
Association of Illinois Electric Cooperative (AIEC) in conjunction with Lincoln Land Community
College, Springfield, IL. It was awarded for the first time in 2011.
Who is eligible to receive the scholarship?
One scholarship a year will be awarded to an individual who is related to a rural electric
cooperative employee or director in the State of Illinois; or is the son or daughter of an electric
cooperative member in Illinois; or is enrolled in the Lincoln Land lineworker’s school; or
has served or is serving in the U.S. armed forces or National Guard. The applicant must have a
high school diploma or a GED at the time the scholarship is awarded. (Please see the "LaVern
and Nola McEntire Lineworker's Scholarship Official Rules & Regulations" sheet for all eligibility
requirements.)
How are the recipients selected?
Scholarships are awarded based on an essay, a biographical statement, and references that will
be submitted.
How does someone apply?
To apply, the applicant must meet the required criteria as outlined in the "Official Rules &
Regulations" and complete the scholarship application available from the local electric
cooperative office. Each applicant is responsible for submitting all information required to apply
for a scholarship and for returning the application to the local electric cooperative by April 30,
2021.

The Child of a Veteran Grant is offered to any accepted child of a veteran on any of the University of Illinois campuses. Check with the U of I financial aid office for an application. It is a full tuition paid grant for four years as long as the student meets the GPA requirements.
The Jacksonville Promise Scholarship Program is available to graduating seniors that have attended Jacksonville high schools for four years, demonstrate they have applied for other scholarships, completed the FAFSA, and maintained at least a 2.0 GPA. The amount of each award varies.
