Here are some important points for Junior year scheduling:
ALL Juniors are required to take core classes in these areas:
English- options are English 11, Honors English 11, AP Language
Math- Algebra 1 if not passed yet, Geometry if not passed yet, Pre-Calculus, Honors Pre-Calculus, Statistics, AP Statistics
History- US History, AP US History
Consumer Education- Consumer ed., Honors Economics Survey
Civics- General education Civics
PE- ALL students must be enrolled in PE during each semester unless enrolled in health, driver’s ed, or a varsity sport during that semester. Options are regular PE, Fitness PE
*If a student has passed all required classes in his/her first two years, they should have two full hours of elective classes to fill. This could be two year-long classes, four semester-long classes, two double-period classes, or a combination.
Incoming Juniors should have about 12 credits.
