Classroom Expectations

 

-Respect all persons and property in the classroom.                      
-Respond when given direction.
-Come to class ready to learn.                                                                   
-Put forth your best effort every day.

 
Policies and Procedures

Materials

Students are responsible for bringing their own materials to class.

The following materials will be needed each day:

  • Pen or pencil    
  • Folder for Social Studies class only  (can be kept in classroom)
  • Paper (loose leaf or a notebook)               
  • Highlighter
  • Box of Tissue

Class Work

All class work is to be done independently unless instructed otherwise by the teacher.  If a student is caught cheating, he/she will be given a zero for the assignment and a parent/guardian will be contacted.

Extra Time

Students must stay quiet if there is extra time at the end of class, or if their assignments are completed before the end of the hour.  They should be respectful of those around them by letting them concentrate on their work.

Food and Drink

Drinks contained in a bottle with a lid will be permitted in the classroom.  No food will be allowed.

Passes

Students will be allowed passes out of the classroom ONLY if they have a pass initiated by another teacher/administrator, or if they have their handbook.  If neither of these things are presented at an appropriate time during the class period, a pass will not be permitted for any reason.

Reminder

Students will not be allowed to charge phones in the classroom.
